Mark Horton & West Lancashire Design Award 2011

Mark Hortons Bath Lodge won the Renovation Development Commendation and is now
the proud holder of this prestigious award.

This year the judging panel visited 11 short listed sites and found the standard very high
which made the task of picking the winners even more difficult. The award winners are
examples where the time and effort put in by the architect’s, owners and contractors have
produced very high quality results.

This year awards have been judged in the following categories:
• New residential development including extensions to existing properties
• The refurbishment and/or conversion of existing buildings
• Commercial or community based developments
• Landscaping schemes and
• Buildings which have used ‘green’ or sustainable techniques and technologies.
